Andrea Fella has been practicing Insight Meditation since 1996, studying with both Western and Asian teachers and teaching Insight Meditation since 2002. She is particularly drawn to intensive retreat practice, and has done a number of long retreats, both in the United States and in Burma. During one long practice period in Burma, she ordained as a nun with Sayadaw U Janaka.
Andrea is especially drawn to the wisdom teachings of the Buddha. Her teachings emphasize clarity and practicality. Her Burmese teachers include Sayadaw U Pandita, Sayadaw U Janaka, and Sayadaw U Tejaniya. Her main Western teachers include Joseph Goldstein, Gil Fronsdal, and Carol Wilson.
She was trained to teach by Gil Fronsdal. She also graduated from the Spirit Rock/Insight Meditation Society teacher training in 2010, led by Jack Kornfield and Joseph Goldstein. She is co-guiding teacher at the Insight Meditation Center in Redwood City, CA, a member of the Spirit Rock Governing Teacher’s Council.

Her work is dedicated to practicing presence and cultivating joy.
Introduced to yoga as a child in 1969, Jennifer has had a steady practice since 1989. She has trained within the Iyengar, Ashtanga, Baptiste, Bhakti Vinyasa, Vinyasa Krama, Vajrayana, and Prajna Yoga lineages.
Certified as both a Yoga Therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapy and an E-RYT 500. Integrating over 30 years of yoga and meditation practice, eight years as an associate professor, and fifteen years as an owner of a Yoga center.
